I came back from texas on monday evening, my BIRTHDAY!! so now i'm 22. officially an old broad. i only kid i kid. 22 is such an awkward age though.
so with that being said, expect some new looks!!

I tend to go hiatus after like 2 posts, ahhaha oh well. shit happens and life goes on!
Here's a look i did the other day, it's a purple MAC look with UD 24/7 liners in deviant

and then this one i did today for work, it's so tropical looking!! i fell in love with it, and i had a ton of compliments on it as well :D

and this is a rainbow look i did like a week and a half ago, but i REALLY like how it turned out.

i know i already have one post of a rainbow look, but i feel like each time i do it, it just gets better and better.

thats what practice is for right!? RIGHT

i'm starting to actually use mascara on my lower lash line as well. which is new to me. usually it gets all goopy and clumpy and just all around disgusting looking, and i have to wipe it all off and re-do all my shadow again.

such a long post this time around! enjoy ladies :]]

holy shit balls i REALLY suck at keeping this updated! I guess i feel bad cause i don't wear my makeup everyday. ::shrugs:: at any rate, this look was a lot of fun to do! Super shimmery, and i love love love gold. and plum. this combo is really getting my heart racing lately!

I feel like a 3rd grader on the first day of school. I'm so damn excited that it's ridiculous! Not to mention I didn't sleep but a wink last night. I went to be at 3:30 a.m. and tossed and turned and woke up every half hour til finally I just stayed up at 5:30!

Anyways, I still have an hour left before I have to leave to get gas and actually GO to work, so here ya go! A MAKEUP UPDATE!!!

hot diggity dog! i finally got a job :]]]]]]

i work for Teavana now, so i essentially just sell tea. all day. every day. and it's fantastic.

Also! I got to venture out to the black market caviar shin dig promoting some chick's t-shirt design, that was pretty fun (thats the look above that i wore in). they had a pop up hair salon there, and she was absolutely fantastic!

she did pin curls on me :] i fell in love, and had so many compliments from it!!! :]]

i have to learn how to do this on myself hahaha. YT vids just don't do it justice though.

at any rate, i also made this cute halter top out of my over sized shadows fall t-shirt.

oh how i love recycling and re designing!

I did this look the other day using my Too Dolly palette, and a face chart from M.A.C. that i found called "she loves candy". This palette is so versatile and i'm really really happy that i picked it up! Romping is one of my new favorite hot pinks out there. Hands Down!

Instead of Milk pigment in the crease i used Jardin Aires pigment

and instead of a black liner with too dolly smudged on it, i used UD 24/7 liner in Deviant

of course fluidline eyeliner and maybeline great lash mascara.

it's all i use and believe in these days hahaha :]

I do apologize for my hiatus, i wasn't feeling any inspiration after my move, but its slowly but surely coming back to me : ]

here's one that i've recently fell in love with, and by recently i mean today hahaha!
I attempted to copy M.A.C.'s sweet and punchy chart, but since i dont have "sweet and punchy" e/s i duped it with overgrown! It's discontinued : [ but at least i know there's about 3 other colors i can dupe it for, wahoo!!

Oh goodness gracious, I'm finally in Chicago!! After an oh so lovely 3 1/2 DAY DRIVE, we pulled up to the front door at 4:30 in the morning.

Words of advice for those who plan to move, if you do decide to tow your car behind another, be prepared to drive 45 miles an hour. the entire time. :]

Not to mention, make sure your safety chains are nice and secure, the cops like to pull you over for that! (we did TWICE!) but we only got warnings, so just be nice, and they'll be nice to you.

I'll try to get some looks taken soon, but we're still getting settled. We got my car cleared for the most part so we could get it off the tow dolly, and we got our mattress off the top of the SUV but everything else is still piled up! LOTS OF WORK TO DO!!!

Oh no!! It's a plain ol' simply blog! HIDE!!

Due to my camera's battery being dead (grr) I have zero looks to post today, and due to my internet about to be cut off because I'm moving to Chicago(!!) I'm sure it'll be a few days until I can really start to play around in my makeup and post some looks again.

It's actually come up quite quickly, this move. It's not the first time I've bounced around the country but I'm hoping it's the last for a while! I've gone from East Texas to South Florida, to Northwest Phoenix, and now i'm moving to the Northeast side of Chicago!

The second level, is where I'll be staying! Ally is going to love sunning in that massive bay window! I can't wait to get pics of the inside (I forgot to take some when we visited on the 15th), but the floors are mostly wood, and the kitchen and bathroom are all these pretty green/blue/black slate tiles.

Needless to say we're STOKED!

3D sparkle dupe!?

I was (well, still am) obsessing over M.A.C.'s 3D Silver glitter, and since I can't exactly run over the closest pro store, i had to get a little creative with it.

SO! If you use Pot's n Pan's NYX jumbo eye pencil all over your lid, and then put ben nye's silver sparkle pigment and some silver ring by M.A.C. you can get the silver hues. Then you put some wet n' wild white sparkle atop and viola! 3D silver glitter for the poor kid :]]

I couldn't find my visine to adhere my glitter, so i used eyelash glue all over my lid. B-A-D I-D-E-A.

The first eye was fine, but the second eye, I used the same finger already coated in eyelash glue to apply it, and it started getting all clumpy and rolling up on me. Plus my liner didn't really stick like it typically does.

But all in all, it was worth the lesson. I'm going to try this again once I can locate my handy dandy oh so red eye clearing visine, and pray to god it works out a bit better :\

This look was done a while ago, but I figured I'd post it anyways :]
It was the first time I really got my fake eyelashes to stick! Now I need more pairs -__- hahah.

I used The All Natural Face's gel liner in peacock as a base all over my lid, and then put M.A.C.'s Azreal Blue on top of it, then put Stars n' Rockets i believe in the crease . i'm not 100 percent on this but oh well. Hopefully I'll be able to recreate it one day hahaha

I apologize for the lack of brow upkeep in these photos, it's been taken care of since, I promise you!

and here's a picture of my cut crease attempt. It's super awful right?! Oh well, we all have to learn sometime and some where!!

Which oddly enough, I found out, that it looks scarily like Jangsara's lastest creation. (Black with a magenta/fuschia in the crease) I didn't even plan that, or know that she did that look!! Great minds think alike, I suppose :D
Oh well, I hope you enjoy this one, it was so much fun to do, and even more fun to rock ;]

Blue Skies, Blue Eyes

I've been on a bit of a blue kick lately, which is odd for me. Blue eyeshadow typically scares the bajeebus out of me. It's a harder color to pull off, blend, and well just over all, use.

I was watching Petrilude's channel on YouTube, and he did a look using neon blue and a bright yellow color. I tried that and it look pretty much god awful, plus I was going to work and I didn't need to look like I just stepped off of the street corner. So! I slapped some "Humid" on top of the "Chrome Yellow" I originally had on my lid, and it came out this really pretty green color hahah. I blended "Jewel Blue" in the crease and I put it on top of my UD 24/7 Liner in the royal blue color. I fudge up with the liner, but meh, it was just a Sunday evening shift. I wasn't entirely too worried!

This look was inspired by a comment i saw on makeupgeek's forum by Nepenthe. She mentioned to get that "purple" look it was actually M.A.C.'s "Stars N' Rockets" on a black base. I have both, so I immediately went to go play in my makeup!
